Mr. Gambo serves as the Lay Member of the TUM-SERC, representing community perspectives
in the review of research proposals.
He brings experience from community service, civil society, local leadership, and public
engagement, helping ensure that research is understandable, respectful, and responsive to the
needs and values of participants and communities.
Mr. Gambo provides critical input on informed consent processes, community entry strategies,
and communication of research risks and benefits in language that is accessible to non-
